Dominant groups

Analysis of household income levels in the City of Bayswater in 2021 compared to EMRC area shows that there was a larger proportion of high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).

Overall, 22.6% of the households earned a high income and 21.8% were low income households, compared with 21.2% and 19.1% respectively for EMRC area.

The major differences between the household incomes of the City of Bayswater and EMRC area were:
