Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Western Sydney (LGA) in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 21.4% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 12.6% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.2% and 14.1% respectively for Greater Sydney.
