Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the male population attending educational institutions in Western Sydney (LGA) in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion attending primary school, a similar proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 9.3% of the male population were attending primary school, 7.1% of the male population were attending secondary institutions, and 6.8% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 8.5%, 6.7% and 7.5% respectively for Greater Sydney.

The major difference between the share of the male population attending learning institutions in Western Sydney (LGA) and Greater Sydney was:
