Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Grange Ward in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (788 people or 14.0%)
  • Retail Trade (625 people or 11.1%)
  • Education and Training (459 people or 8.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,872 people in total or 33.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Charles Sturt employed 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Retail Trade; and 8.5% in Education and Training.
