Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Woodville West in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (219 people or 15.4%)
  • Retail Trade (164 people or 11.5%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (132 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 515 people in total or 36.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Charles Sturt employed 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Retail Trade; and 7.9% in Public Administration and Safety.
