Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 84 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Tuggerah - Mardi, compared with 1,524 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Tuggerah - Mardi in 2021, compared to Central Coast Council area, shows that 3.0% used public transport, while 53.7% used a private vehicle, compared with 2.2% and 52.6% respectively in Central Coast Council area.
The major difference in persons between the method of travel to work of Tuggerah - Mardi and Central Coast Council area was:
- A smaller percentage of persons who worked at home (23.8% compared to 25.5%)
