Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (539 people or 16.7%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (509 people or 15.8%)
  • Labourers (444 people or 13.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,492 people in total or 46.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 13.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 14.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 9.7% in Labourers.
