The size of Wyong Ward's labour force in 2021 was 35,418, of which 11,405 were employed part-time and 18,114 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Wyong Ward in 2021 compared to Central Coast Council area shows that there was a similar proportion in employment, as well as a similar proportion unemployed. Overall, 95.0% of the labour force was employed, and 5.0% unemployed, compared with 95.3% and 4.7% respectively for Central Coast Council area.
