Analysis of the type of internet connection of households for recent arrivals in the Central Coast Council area compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a similar proportion of recent arrivals with no access to an internet connection, and a higher proportion with broadband connectivity compared to Greater Sydney in 2011.
Overall 6.1% of recent arrivals had no access to an internet connection and 84.8% had broadband connectivity, compared with 6.4% and 83.4% respectively in Greater Sydney.
