Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Berwick in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (3,348 females or 27.2%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,759 females or 22.4%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (2,021 females or 16.4%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 8,128 females in total or 66.0% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, the City of Casey employed 21.4% in Professionals; 20.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 19.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Berwick and the City of Casey were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (27.2% compared to 21.4%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (22.4% compared to 20.8%)
