Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Clyde in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (802 males or 24.5%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (533 males or 16.3%)
  • Professionals (422 males or 12.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,757 males in total or 53.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 15.3% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 13.7% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Clyde and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (7.4% compared to 5.3%)
