Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Berwick in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,976 males or 22.3%)
  • Professionals (2,653 males or 19.9%)
  • Managers (2,359 males or 17.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 7,988 males in total or 59.8% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 13.7% in Professionals; and 12.3% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Berwick and the City of Casey were:
