Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Junction Village in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (37 females or 22.8%)
  • Retail Trade (24 females or 14.8%)
  • Education and Training (18 females or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 79 females in total or 48.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Retail Trade; and 11.0% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Junction Village and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in public administration and safety (7.4% compared to 4.1%)
