Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Cranbourne in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,080 females or 25.2%)
  • Retail Trade (561 females or 13.1%)
  • Education and Training (361 females or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,002 females in total or 46.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Retail Trade; and 11.0% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Cranbourne and the City of Casey were:
