Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Clyde North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,278 females or 31.3%)
  • Education and Training (819 females or 11.3%)
  • Retail Trade (780 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,877 females in total or 53.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Clyde North and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (31.3% compared to 25.8%)
