Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Clyde North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,207 males or 14.2%)
  • Manufacturing (1,128 males or 13.2%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (974 males or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,309 males in total or 38.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 18.4% in Construction; 14.2% in Manufacturing; and 8.6% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Clyde North and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in transport, postal and warehousing (11.4% compared to 8.6%)
