Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Berwick in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,375 males or 17.8%)
  • Manufacturing (1,473 males or 11.0%)
  • Retail Trade (1,297 males or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,145 males in total or 38.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 18.4% in Construction; 14.2% in Manufacturing; and 8.7% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Berwick and the City of Casey were:
