Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Casey Farm in 2016 compared to the City of Casey shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 37.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 6.2% were one-parent families, compared with 45.1% and 11.8% respectively for the City of Casey.

There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 14.3% compared to 14.6% in the City of Casey while the proportion of couples without children was 31.9% compared to 20.9% in the City of Casey.
