Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Clyde North in 2021 compared to Clyde shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 57.0% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.7% were one-parent families, compared with 48.6% and 9.1% respectively for Clyde.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 10.1% compared to 11.7% in Clyde while the proportion of couples without children was 18.6% compared to 22.9% in Clyde.
