Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Berwick in 2021 compared to Botanic Ridge shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 44.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 10.7% were one-parent families, compared with 54.0% and 8.6% respectively for Botanic Ridge.
