- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (452 people or 10.0%)
- Retail Trade (397 people or 8.8%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,471 people in total or 32.6% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, the City of Canterbury Bankstown employed 13.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 10.2% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Canterbury and the City of Canterbury Bankstown were:
