Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Stanhope and District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (344 people or 30.0%)
  • Labourers (190 people or 16.6%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (158 people or 13.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 692 people in total or 60.3% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Campaspe Shire employed 16.7% in Managers; 14.3% in Labourers; and 14.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
