Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Trinity Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (757 people or 22.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (520 people or 15.6%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (470 people or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,747 people in total or 52.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Cairns employed 20.4% in Professionals; 14.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 15.0% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Trinity Beach and Cairns were:
