Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Trinity Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (609 people or 18.2%)
  • Education and Training (326 people or 9.7%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (316 people or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,251 people in total or 37.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Cairns employed 18.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.9% in Education and Training; and 9.9% in Accommodation and Food Services.

There were no major differences between Trinity Beach and Cairns in 2021.
