Analysis of the household/family types in White Rock in 2021 compared to Cairns shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 21.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 15.4% were one-parent families, compared with 24.8% and 12.3% respectively for Cairns.
