Analysis of the employment status of people in low income households (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of people in low income households in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 76.1% of the labour force was employed, and 23.9% unemployed, compared with 70.2% and 29.8% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
