The size of the City of Burnside's labour force aged 15 to 17 years in 2021 was 608 persons, of which 460 were employed part-time and 8 were full time workers.

Analysis of the employment status of people aged 15 to 17 years (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Burnside shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed.
