Broken Hill (Central) is situated in the northwest corner of Broken Hill. The northern boundary runs through the Living Desert State Park. The east is bounded by the Silver City Highway and a short part of Buck Street. The southern boundary runs along McGowan Lane, Brooks Lane, the area of Broken Hill North, Schlapps Street, Iodide Street, Oxide Street, and Williams Street. The south-west is bounded by Broken Hill Cemetery, Hynes Street, Brown Street, Horsington Drive, and Silverton Road, before running along the western boundary with Unincorporated NSW.
