Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ardeer in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (161 males or 21.3%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (136 males or 18.0%)
  • Professionals (129 males or 17.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 426 males in total or 56.4% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Brimbank employed 21.2% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 18.1% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 13.5% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Ardeer and the City of Brimbank were:
