Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sydenham District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (3,958 people or 17.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (3,554 people or 15.8%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,105 people or 13.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,617 people in total or 47.3% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the Sunshine District employed 18.7% in Professionals; 12.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 13.0% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
