Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Keilor in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (249 females or 17.5%)
  • Education and Training (231 females or 16.2%)
  • Retail Trade (168 females or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 648 females in total or 45.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Brimbank employed 19.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.3% in Education and Training; and 12.2% in Retail Trade.
