Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Kealba in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (120 females or 17.0%)
- Education and Training (114 females or 16.2%)
- Retail Trade (86 females or 12.2%)
In combination, these three industries employed 320 females in total or 45.5% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, the City of Brimbank employed 19.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.3% in Education and Training; and 12.2% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Kealba and the City of Brimbank were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (16.2% compared to 10.3%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in public administration and safety (7.1% compared to 5.2%)
