Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cairnlea in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Retail Trade (541 people or 11.5%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (524 people or 11.2%)
  • Manufacturing (491 people or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,556 people in total or 33.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Kings Park employed 11.0% in Retail Trade; 10.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 13.5% in Manufacturing.
