Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Albion in 2021 compared to Delahey shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 7.3% of the population earned a high income, and 34.4% earned a low income, compared with 3.9% and 41.6% respectively for Delahey.

The major differences between Albion's individual incomes and Delahey's individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (5.3% compared to 3.2%)
  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $500 - $649 (8.0% compared to 6.7%)
