Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Boroondara in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (35,030 people or 40.3%)
  • Managers (17,169 people or 19.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (10,260 people or 11.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 62,459 people in total or 71.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Balwyn employed 38.4% in Professionals; 19.4% in Managers; and 11.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
