Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Hawthorn East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (862 males or 20.7%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (397 males or 9.5%)
  • Construction (374 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,633 males in total or 39.2% of the total employed male resident population.
