Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ashburton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (600 people or 15.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (549 people or 13.8%)
  • Education and Training (425 people or 10.7%)
