Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in Glen Iris in 2021 compared to the City of Boroondara shows that there was a higher proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 38.0% of the male population earned a high income, and 24.2% earned a low income, compared with 32.2% and 25.4% respectively for the City of Boroondara.

The major differences between Glen Iris's male individual incomes and the City of Boroondara's male individual incomes were:
