Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Whalan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (362 people or 22.4%)
  • Labourers (236 people or 14.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (232 people or 14.3%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 830 people in total or 51.3% of the employed resident population.
