Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Hindi speaking resident population in Blacktown City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (3,608 people or 35.2%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,694 people or 16.5%)
- Managers (1,449 people or 14.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,751 people in total or 65.9% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 38.8% in Professionals; 14.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.5% in Managers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the Hindi speaking population of Blacktown City and Greater Sydney were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (16.5% compared to 14.6%)
- A larger percentage of people employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (7.4% compared to 6.0%)
- A smaller percentage of people employed as Professionals (35.2% compared to 38.8%)
- A smaller percentage of people employed as Managers (14.1% compared to 15.5%)

The number of employed Hindi speakers in Blacktown City increased by 2,461 between 2016 and 2021.
The largest changes in the occupations of Hindi speaking residents between 2016 and 2021 in Blacktown City were for those employed as:
