The size of Blacktown City's labour force in 2016 was 163,385, of which 41,299 were employed part-time and 102,405 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Blacktown City in 2016 compared to Lethbridge Park shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 92.7% of the labour force was employed, and 7.3% unemployed, compared with 86.0% and 14.0% respectively for Lethbridge Park.
