Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Berrigan Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (442 males or 24.6%)
  • Construction (228 males or 12.7%)
  • Manufacturing (199 males or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 869 males in total or 48.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Moira (S) - West SLA employed 20.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 16.2% in Construction; and 15.3% in Manufacturing.
