Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Belmont in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,410 males or 11.9%)
  • Mining (1,236 males or 10.4%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1,124 males or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,770 males in total or 31.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 14.3% in Construction; 9.9% in Mining; and 6.7% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Belmont and Greater Perth were:
