The size of Bayside Council's labour force in low income households in 2021 was 3,811, of which 1,544 were employed part-time and 549 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of people in low income households (as a percentage of the labour force) in Bayside Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a similar proportion of people in low income households in employment, as well as a similar proportion unemployed. Overall, 71.1% of the labour force was employed, and 28.9% unemployed, compared with 71.2% and 28.8% respectively for Greater Sydney.
