Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Black Rock in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (282 females or 17.6%)
  • Education and Training (228 females or 14.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (187 females or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 697 females in total or 43.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Bayside employed 18.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.6% in Education and Training; and 13.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major difference between the jobs held by the female population of Black Rock and the City of Bayside was:
