Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sandringham in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (850 people or 15.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (663 people or 12.2%)
  • Education and Training (513 people or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,026 people in total or 37.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Church Street Activity Centre employed 16.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.6% in Education and Training.
