Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Hampton East in 2021 compared to the City of Bayside shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 20.5% of the population earned a high income, and 31.0% earned a low income, compared with 26.9% and 28.5% respectively for the City of Bayside.

The major differences between Hampton East's individual incomes and the City of Bayside's individual incomes were:
