Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Beckett Ward in 2021 compared to Cheltenham shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a similar proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 25.6% of the population earned a high income, and 29.0% earned a low income, compared with 22.9% and 28.8% respectively for Cheltenham.

The major differences between Beckett Ward's individual incomes and Cheltenham's individual incomes were:
