Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in the City of Bayside in 2021 compared to Bay Street Activity Centre shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 35.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.8% were one-parent families, compared with 17.9% and 8.4% respectively for Bay Street Activity Centre.
