Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bass Coast Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,874 males or 22.5%)
  • Retail Trade (698 males or 8.4%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (580 males or 7.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,152 males in total or 37.9% of the total employed male resident population.
